Hopefully, the DD field trip planned, turns out good. Worthy for 111/- at-least :)

Lots of free time coming up at the end of the week too.

Hope next week isn't full of tests and assignment again :)

The week that was ...

Hi folks

The previous week was quite an eventful one indeed ... Here are some notes on Week 4 of the 2nd sem :)

• First was the session on personality development by a renowned psychiatrist and Krish Sir's co-brother. The session was more a 'gyaan' on how to manage relationships. It was interactive but, what was the purpose of having such a session for MBA aspirants?. Nevertheless, a different initiative.
• Next up were the demo yoga sessions taken by our very own Ganapathy Murugesan. Few people have been very much benefited by the 'gyaan' that Ganapathy gave about breathing, flexibility etc etc 
• Next on Friday, there was no 'gyaan' but just full on masti at the Talent Show conducted by the cultural committee. Students from both MBA and BSC, were literally competing with each other to show who had the better talent. Great time. In fact the most enjoyable day of this semester till date. 
• On Saturday there were no sessions but just a movie screening. 'Manasaare' featuring Kannada cinema heartthrob Diganth. The movie was light hearted and mostly enjoyable. 

On the whole, a nice week. Hoping for more such weeks of masti and gyaan :)

New Sense's Short film contest

Hi folks

Rush in your story plots based on the theme "Manipal University" and send them across to the New Sense folks before Friday the 25th ...

Your plots should tell the story within a minute ... Write your 1min plots on an A4 paper ...

The 5 best plots will be selected and intimated to the writers by the 26th ...

Next stage is writing the script and dialogs for that particular plot.

These 5 completed short films would then be screened during the inauguration of the new campus in March end ...

So pep up, write up and send your talent proofs to the New Sense folks

The Milkshake Majaa

Hi mates

Hope you guys tasted the milkshakes offered by the CSR committee guys for 30 bucks yday during the lunch time

There were 2 flavors ... Strawberry and Banana, with a smattering of chocolate sauce

I tasted both the flavors ... Strawberry was better ...

In the survey conducted by them, many shared that 20 would have been the ideal pricing :) ...

But anyways lets hope that the CSR committee collected a good amount yday and use it for some good cause ...

1st Sem Results :

Hi mates

The much awaited results of our 1st Semester examination has come today ... the sad part is that AMC people will get it a  day later which makes them a little bit anxious ....

We are really proud & happy  that our Journal's admin & our dear friend Kaushik LM has topped all in the M&E section scoring excellent  well above 8.5 / 10 (GPA) & following him there is Ranjani , Neha , Twinkle etc have  all got above  8 (GPA) .. Congrats guys ....

For others wishing them best of luck in the following semester ...

Special Guest Lecture on 21st

Hello Folks ,

I am sure the session which was taken by Mr.Chaitanya (Director of the movie Aa Dhinagalu ) was very much Informative for those who are really Interested & Enthusiastic about Films & their Business aspects ...

We welcome more of such lectures in future for enhancing our knowledge about what we will be specializing in .... I am very much glad that it was a very interactive session with many of our mates clarifying their queries on Movies , Television etc ....

Do keep supporting the faculties who invite people to share what they specialize in ...
